Job Summary:
The Farmer's Dog is on a mission to transform pet health by providing fresh, personalized dog food directly to customers. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Customer Care Tools & Intelligence team, you'll lead the development of tools that empower customer care advisors to deliver exceptional service, working collaboratively across various departments to create impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex systems and features, from planning through maintenance, ensuring long-term sustainability
• Improve team execution by refining processes, tools, on-call rotations, and practices that raise the bar for everyone
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to shape strategy and achieve our goals
• Contribute to our engineering culture and mentor the team through knowledge sharing, feedback, and design and incident reviews
• Work our stack (TypeScript, Node.js, React, OpenAPI, AWS), but embrace learning and applying new tools as needed
• Partner with Customer Care to deeply understand advisor workflows, translating real-world pain points into AI powered solutions or tools that help advisors deliver more personalized service
