Shift: Tuesday-Friday / 6:00am - 4:30pm
Start Pay Range: $26.00
Objectives / Purpose of the Job:Perform Incoming Quality Inspection of packaging, product componentry and raw materials.
Key Activities /Responsibilities/Job Functions:• Perform inspections of labeling, componentry and raw materials utilizing document controls systems.
• Perform sampling of raw materials (nonsterile and sterile) and components as required.
• Interact with suppliers to satisfy State of Florida legal requirements and provide documentation as required to support material release.
• Complete appropriate inspection documentation and perform inventory transactions in inventory management system.
• Identify revisions / improvements for current procedures and practices.
• Assist in cross-training of departmental personnel in inspection/sampling techniques.
• Support and conduct NC investigations.
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Support validation of sterilization by sampling and inspection.
• Computer support programs; Inventory management systems (ERP), document control systems (Documentum), lab information data systems (GLIMS), visual inspection software (GlobalVision), Quality System, (CatsWeb), SmartScope, additional support computer programs as required.
• Review and/or author department SOP's
• Attend cross functional meetings representing IQI
• Perform dimensional measurements using SmartScope
• Act as backup to Team Lead V as needed
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications /Training:• High School Diploma
• Ability to lift 50 lb. bags and manually push pallets.
• Ability to complete room sanitization certification.
• environmental monitoring certification, aseptic core Certification and EHS health screen.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in Microsoft programs, inventory management systems, document control systems, lab data systems and visual inspection software are preferred.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others, good oral and written skills.
• Familiar with component, raw materials, and labeling techniques.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and possess basic math skills.
This position may be available in the following location: US - Tampa, FL
