The ideal candidate for the Loan Documentation/Prefunding Specialist will have the skills and experience necessary to meet the following responsibilities and qualifications:

         Provides administrative and/or operational support for business banking loan operations.

         Duties may include loan documentation preparation activities, ensuring the accurate and complete preparation of loan documents, creating legal documents as required i.e.: streamline renewal documents).

         Duties may also include assigned pre-funding activities such as verifying and ensuring that the required closed loan documents have been received and properly executed, and for validating balanced disbursement information prior to providing the OK to Fund for loans underwritten and approved.

         Employees may be aligned in teams by complexity and may specifically support real estate, non-real estate secured loans, or SBA loans, but may support multiple methodologies and collateral types and therefore must possess the appropriate skills needed for each.

         Responsible for meeting turn time and accuracy requirements dictated by established service level agreements.

         Works closely with Business Bankers/Branch Managers, Loan Closers and other loan operations departments.

         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

         Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some previous banking or loan process experience or other directly related experience.

         Basic knowledge of lending processes and procedures, loan documentation, exceptions, collateral review, payment and loan systems. Knowledge of banking processes helpful.

         Must have good organizational and customer service skills.

         Must possess numeric and verbal aptitudes. Good written and verbal communications skills. Ability to complete processes and meet deadlines.

         Working knowledge pc's and various word processing, spreadsheet or related software.
