Job description

Yamaha has an exciting opportunity for aDocumentation Specialist IIin our Kennesaw, GA office. The ideal candidate will perform the functions necessary to document and book YCF transactions. Interacts with the Distributors, Direct Sales Staff, leasing customers and internal departments such as accounting and Yamaha Sales Administrators to coordinate transactions and handle daily functions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Verifysigned documents are completed correctly andmeetsall credit approval conditions.Pursueany missing documentation necessary to booktransaction.Verifydata incomputersystem.Maintainaccuratestatus updatesinregular intervals for all pending booking transactions in assigned territory.
  • UCC Filings -Files UCC-1initialstatementsand UCC-3amendments and terminations on all YCF transactions.
  • Equipment Serial Number Check- In-put of serial numbers and verification against existing portfolio inventory.Verifies wholesale cost payoff amounts of units from Distributor flooring.Processes used car flooring requestsin an accurate and efficient mannerforassignedDistributors.
  • Responsible for generating other customer documentation as needed for transfer and assumptions and contract terminations.
  • Sends out copies with counter signature tocustomersand purgesfileof unnecessary documents.
  • Other Duties as assigned

What you need to be successful:

  • Requires college degree in related field or 4+ years ofpreviouscommercial leasing or financial service experience performing similar duties
  • Must have experience with handling legal documentation
  • Working knowledge of Excel,Wordand PowerPoint
  • Past experienceutilizingOdessa lease management software, SAP, Vertex tax software, and CSC UCC filing software is a plus
  • Past experiencewith dealer floorplan financing is a plus
  • Makes independent decisionsregardingroutine activities
  • Must be able to work autonomously and in collaboration with others
  • Most daily work is independently planned and implemented.
  • Determinessignature authority and overall acceptability of contracts
  • High levelof accuracy, preciseness and attention to detail are essential
  • Superior customer service/relations etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task and have strong time management skills
