    • Translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
    • Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, version control, and document management processes.
    • Ensure all documentation reflects current regulatory requirements, company standards, and operational practices.

    Technical Writing
    • Lead technical writing efforts for new and revised EHS policies and procedures.
    • Interview subject matter experts to capture technical requirements and operational processes.
    • Edit and proofread documentation for technical accuracy, readability, consistency, and compliance.
    • Develop supporting materials such as job aids, FAQs, quick reference guides, and training documentation.

    Communications & Change Management
    • Partner with Corporate Communications to develop communication and rollout strategies for new or updated ESH programs and documentation.
    • Coordinate communication plans that effectively reach impacted employees across multiple functions and locations.
    • Drive accessibility to these documents through IT tools like Confluence, Box and similar.

    Stakeholder Management
    • Coordinate cross-functional review and approval cycles for all EHS documentation.
    • Facilitate collaboration among EHS leaders, Legal, Operations, People Team, Quality, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
    • Track comments, revisions, approvals, and implementation timelines.
    • Resolve conflicting feedback while maintaining document integrity and compliance.

    Document Governance & Compliance
    • Manage the complete document lifecycle from creation through retirement.
    • Develop and maintain document review schedules and ensure periodic reviews are completed on time.
    • Monitor document effectiveness and recommend updates based on regulatory changes, audits, incidents, and operational improvements.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and demonstrating document control compliance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Technical Communications, English, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, document management, ESH, quality systems, regulated industries, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting Environmental, Health & Safety management systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar regulatory and management system frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience writing technical policies, procedures, and management system documentation.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional document review and approval processes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
