Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and skilled Overnight Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will handle emergency and non-emergency calls, make quick decisions, and coordinate appropriate responses. The ideal candidate is highly organized, computer literate, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure. Strong communication skills are essential. While boating knowledge is preferred, it is not required.
Responsibilities
  • Receive inbound emergency and non-emergency calls
  • Collect and document critical information from callers
  • Prioritize calls based on urgency
  • Dispatch appropriate response units to locations
  • Monitor and respond to VHF radios
  • Transmit information to the necessary departments or personnel
  • Process invoices and maintain accurate records

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role preferred
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with emergency response protocols (preferred)
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Position Details

  • Full-time position
  • Weekend and holiday availability required
  • Overnight shifts required 
  • Typical shift hours: 4pm-12am or 12am-08 
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
  • Benefits (health, dental, 401(k), paid time off) start after 60 days of employment
  • Training period: approximately six weeks with a varying schedule

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Overnight Shift (Required)
  • 8 week training period during 8am-4pm or 4pm-8am
