Job description

Position Summary:
The Credit Deal Closing Specialist is responsible for the review and processing of credit-related contract documents, focusing on accurate preparation. This role ensures that all credit documentation complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The specialist works closely with credit analysts, treasury, contract admin, sales and legal to obtain, review and accept/reject amendments and other credit-related paperwork in order to close PTL lease and maintenance deals requiring credit enhancements. Once all required documentation is obtained and correct, the Credit Deal Closing Specialist will execute a formal Credit Approval in Penske's Contract Admin Tracking System to formally approve the transaction. This will centralize and standardize the document review process which is currently with the credit analysts and will shorten deal cycle time.

 
Major Responsibilities:
Ensure completeness and accuracy of all documentation in alignment with credit decisions, policies and legal requirements.
Issue a formal approval in CATS when all credit requirements are met.
Work collaboratively with credit analysts and sales teams to resolve documentation discrepancies. If needed, work with the Legal team for guidance for issue resolution
Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies or related fields preferred. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required.
Minimum 3 years of experience with contract interpretation, contract management systems, experience with sales processes and systems preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in document management, administrative support in a credit or financial environment preferred.
Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, AS400, Salesforce & CATS.
Ability to meet key deadlines
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, handle multiple projects
Analyzes complex information and presents it in a way that is easy to understand
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate and influence others
Can work independently and with teams
Ability to partner with international teams
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
