Role Description

The Technical Publications Writer / Illustratoris responsible for developing, illustrating, and maintaining technicalpublications supporting VIP aircraft completion, refurbishment, modification,maintenance, and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) programs.

ย This position transforms engineering data,certification documentation, and aircraft installation information into clear,accurate, and regulatory-compliant technical manuals, Instructions forContinued Airworthiness (ICA), Aircraft Flight Manuals (AFM), Aircraft CrewOperating Manuals (ACOM), Cabin Safety Briefing materials, ComponentMaintenance Manuals (CMM), and other customer deliverables.

ย Working closely with Engineering, Certification,Production, Quality, Program Management, and Flight Operations, the TechnicalPublications Writer / Illustrator ensures all documentation accurately reflectsthe completed aircraft configuration while meeting FAA, EASA, customer, andcompany standards.ย

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Produce clear, concise, and technicallyaccurate procedural documentation for aircraft maintenance personnel,operators, inspectors, and flight crews.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Create and revise technical illustrations,exploded views, diagrams, and graphics supporting engineering and maintenancedocumentation.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Develop installation photographs and visualreferences using digital photography to support technical publications.

Minimum Qualifications, Education andExperience

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Bachelor's degree in TechnicalCommunication, Aviation Technology, Engineering Technology, IndustrialTechnology, Graphic Communications, Aeronautics, or a related disciplinepreferred.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Equivalent combination of education andrelevant aviation technical publications experience will be considered.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Minimum three (3) years of technical writingor technical publications experience within aviation or aerospace.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย Experience supporting aircraft modification,aircraft completion, maintenance, or certification programs preferred.
