Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Project Specialist to join our team. The Project Specialist willprovide customer support and project coordination across offices while supporting utility and telecom engineering projects through permitting, documentation, stakeholder communication, and schedule tracking to ensure successful delivery of DOT, OSP, and infrastructure relocation work.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interface directly with the Customer, Project Managers and Principal Project Engineers of the
  • Implement standard engineering solutions to successful completion and within budgeted time and cost constraints.
  • May occasionally be required to work on customized engineering

  • Assist with design of aerial and underground fiber optic networks
  • Support preparation of construction drawings and permit packages
  • Perform field walks, site surveys, and data collection
  • Assist with pole line layouts, route engineering, and conflict identification
  • Support DOT and utility coordination efforts
  • Assist project managers with schedules, documentation, and reporting
  • Follow QA/QC standards and engineering best practices
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to executives, project managers, and technical staff.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate conference calls, and prepare agendas.
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with company standards.
  • Answer phones, route calls, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Assist with project documentation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate project kickoff meetings, client meetings, and internal coordination sessions.
  • Track action items and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Support document control, including submittals, deliverables, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with preparation of proposals.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
