Position Summary Lighthouse Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Specialist to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring material availability for production, and supporting compliance with aerospace quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a precision manufacturing or aerospace environment and a strong understanding of inventory control processes, traceability, and material handling. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies Ensure full material traceability in compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., lot control, certifications) Issue materials to production and coordinate replenishment to support manufacturing schedules Receive incoming materials, verify documentation, and ensure proper storage Update inventory records in ERP/MRP systems accurately and in real time Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams to ensure material availability and compliance Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred 1–3 years of inventory, stockroom, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace preferred) Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar) Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, and material handling practices Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents, including packing slips and certifications High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Preferred Skills Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments (AS9100 familiarity a plus) Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) and lot traceability requirements Forklift certification or willingness to obtain Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principles Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $22 - $28 Hourly Bonus/Commission: Yes
