Position Title: Concrete Quality Control Tech

General Description of Position: The Concrete Quality Control Technician is a hands-on role that helps ensure our concrete products meet project specifications and company standards. You’ll gain real-world experience inspecting forms, reinforcement placement, and embedded items, performing concrete testing, and documenting results to support safe, reliable production.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assist with inspecting forms, reinforcement, embedded items, and finished products
  • Perform concrete testing and prepare test samples
  • Help maintain quality control documentation and reports
  • Identify and document non-conformances
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams
  • Support scheduling coordination with production leadership
  • Must be willing to obtain PCI level I &II certifications
  • Must be willing to obtain ACI certifications

Experience and Education

A mix of education and relevant work experience that demonstrates comparable knowledge and skills, including but not limited to:


  • Associate’s Degree in Civil Technology, Construction Management, Concrete Industry Management or a related field.
  • OR relevant construction, plant, or material experience.
  • Solid understanding of concrete fundamentals preferred.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and basic math skills (geometry, algebra, trigonometry).
  • Ability to prepare detailed inspection reports and document non-conformances.
  • Ability to apply creative and efficient inspection and quality control methods.
