Position Overview
The Associate Analyst, Inventory Analyst contributes to designing process improvement plans for the Inventory Control team. In this capacity, the Associate Analyst monitors and collects data reports for process failures, analyzes investigation results, generates recommendations to improve processes, as well as coordinates and documents approved improvements.

  • Create and send variance reports to ensure product rotation and inventory level standards are maintained for internal purges and outside storage. Resolve and update inventory discrepancies by working closely with field inventory control teams, and outside storage warehouses contacts. This includes processing adjustments on variances following the review of reporting and information received from field teams and external contacts.
  • Create reports on products transferred from facility to facility, from facility to outside storage, from vendors to outside storage warehouses to ensure accurate and timely reconciliations occur. Analyze the data to recommend process improvements.
  • Review documentation associated with handbills, r-bill, PO's, purges escalations to ensure accuracy and timely approvals. This includes researching, resolving and approving escalated issues within authorized limits. Communicate with internal Customer Service, OS&D, and Warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting based on documentation analysis.
  • Support completion of various team projects by tracking completion of projects tasks and updating project plans in collaboration with Data Scientists and Management.
  • Write & execute queries, replicate/create report templates to automate processes, research options to automate delivery of reports to customers, complete testing against test plan. Collaborate with internal team members to understand and support current processing, and make recommendations to business partners and management on potential enhancements to current reporting that could be completed in conjunction automation projects.
  • Extract data and prepare ad hoc reports, including inventory results, and update management with results. Identify reporting anomalies and root cause to assist with process improvement, enhancing reporting and streamlining data entry.
