Job description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise ERP modernization initiatives within an SAP environment.
This role will document current-state business processes, support gap analysis efforts, and translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements. The Business Analyst will work closely with the Business Process Consultant and enterprise stakeholders to ensure deliverables are structured, accurate, and implementation-ready.
The ideal candidate has strong ERP analysis experience, SAP exposure, and advanced documentation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. As-Is Business Process Documentation
  • Support and participate in cross-functional workshops
  • Document detailed workflows, process maps, system dependencies, and integrations
  • Develop comprehensive process diagrams and documentation artifacts
  • Maintain issue logs and track identified gaps and risks
2. Gap Analysis & Future State Support
  • Assist in analyzing differences between current and future-state processes
  • Document system and operational gaps
  • Support development of modernization recommendations
3. Requirements Development
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements
  • Support SAP S/4HANA upgrade or alternative ERP implementation specifications
  • Identify data migration, reporting, dashboard, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, process maps, and strategic objectives
4. Documentation & Reporting
  • Develop structured deliverables including requirements documents, analysis reports, and executive-ready summaries
  • Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and implementation-ready
  • Support presentation materials and stakeholder communications

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of ERP business analysis experience
  • Experience supporting SAP environments
  • Proven experience documenting business processes and developing requirements
  • Strong process modeling experience (BPMN, Visio, or similar tools)
  • Excellent analytical and documentation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA initiatives
  • Experience in public-sector or large enterprise environments
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar)
  • Experience supporting data migration or reporting modernization efforts
  • Familiarity with governance and change management frameworks
