Services typically include routine check-ups, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, preventive care, vaccinations, and management of chronic conditions. Doctor's offices also provide referrals to specialists, order laboratory tests, and offer patient education. They serve as the primary point of contact for most non-emergency medical needs.

Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, scheduling software, and insurance billing tools is often required. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal communication help you provide efficient service and support to patients and staff. These skills ensure the office runs smoothly, appointments and records are managed accurately, and patients receive timely, compassionate care.
