ย This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to patient care while working with a highly skilled team in the staffing and recruiting industry.

As a Locum MD / DO, you will provide specialized medical care, conduct thorough patient evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment plans for patients. Your expertise in hematology oncology will play a crucial role in supporting the goals of our clients and improving patient outcomes in the community.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostics
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for hematology oncology patients
  • Collaborate with nursing and clinical staff to provide high-quality care
  • Participate in patient education and support initiatives
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in hematology oncology
  • Provide consultation and guidance on complex case management
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification in Hematology Oncology preferred
  • Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule: Monday-Friday with call

Daily Volume: 12-15 patients

Setting: 25% inpatient, 75% outpatient

Case Types: Primarily benign hematology

No solid oncology or malignant hematology

Support Staff: PAs, NPs, nurse navigators, medical assistants, and RNs

EMR: Epic
