What are dockside workers?

They operate heavy machinery like cranes and forklifts, ensure cargo is handled safely, and may check shipping documents to verify goods. Their work is essential to the smooth operation of maritime logistics and global trade. Dockside workers often work in shifts and must follow strict safety protocols due to the physically demanding and sometimes hazardous environment.
