Job description

Are you a skilled Foreman, Team Lead, or an experienced Maintenance Technician ready to take the lead in a dynamic role?  K&P Dock Door & Maintenance, a growing leader in the industrial and commercial door solutions, is seeking Foreman/Lead types to join our dedicated team.  If you excel at troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance in fast-paced environments, we can talk to you!
What You'll Do:
  • Lead a team in the diagnosis, repair, and installation of dock doors, overhead doors, and industrial door systems.
  • Perform expert troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical components to ensure optimal functionality.

Maintain the highest safety standards, consistently utilizing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and steel-toed shoes.
  • Uphold a reputation for professionalism and exceptional service, particularly when working with key clients like the Post Office.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure meticulous follow-through on all assignments.
  • Engage in physically demanding work, including bending for extended periods and lifting to 50 lbs. 
  • Travel to various job sites, some job sites are out of South Carolina, daily, with travel expenses paid for by the company.

What You'll Bring 
  • 2 plus years of experience in the dock door maintenance, industrial maintenance, commercial overhead door repair, or similar fields.
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial equipment.
  • Backgrounds as a low-voltage technician, electrician, or welder are highly valued due to transferable skills.
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and operational excellence.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands required for the role.
