Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our expanding department. The role will focus on supporting various business operations, including sales analysis, CRM system administration, commission processing, and backlog tracking. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start a career in business, data analysis, and operations management.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Salesforce Administration: Maintain and update Salesforce data, generate reports to track sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics. Assist in optimizing Salesforce usage for efficient data management.
  • Commission Processing: Assist with the calculation and verification of sales commissions and splits, ensuring accurate tracking and timely payments for sales teams.
  • Distributor POS Analysis: Analyze Distributor Point of Sale (POS) data to monitor sell-out performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders for strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales team and Product Management to coordinate actions from planning through execution, ensuring requests are processed and results communicated to stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Prepare and contribute to presentations and daily reports, summarizing sales performance and providing actionable insights. This includes transferring key reports from Excel to Power BI to enhance data visualization and accessibility.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Business Analytics.
Position Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • CRM System Administration: 1 year of experience with CRM tools, including data entry, report generation, and managing user accounts. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze POP sales data and POS performance using Excel and other tools.
  • Commission Processing: Experience or interest in managing sales commission data, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to work across departments and present data in a clear, concise manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in handling data, reports, and commission payments.
  • US Citizenship Requirement: Due to ITAR/Governmental contracts, this position requires a US Person.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce.com or other ERP/CRM systems.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar BI tool.
  • Capability to build Macros/VBA.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards utilizing visualization tools.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical tools and techniques to investigate data trends, issues, and to draw conclusions from data.
  • Flexible work hours to interface with all team members throughout North America and Europe.
  • Ability to lead and problem-solve in unstructured environments.
