Job description

Superior Janitorial Services (SJS) is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to join our administration team in Bristow, VA. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on keeping things organized — you'll be the go-to person for payroll, bookkeeping, invoicing, and HR administration, all while supporting our proposals and project teams.

What You'll Do

  • Process biweekly employee payroll and weekly subcontractor payments
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices and customer billing
  • Perform bookkeeping in QuickBooks and maintain accurate financial records
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and employee offboarding, including paperwork and personnel file maintenance
  • Prepare service proposals and maintain project documentation
  • Generate reports to support management decision-making

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or coursework in business/accounting a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative, office coordination, or bookkeeping work
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar) and payroll processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with payroll, personnel, and financial information

Working Conditions

Office-based role with regular use of phone and computer. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs and minimal local travel (e.g., supply pickups).
