This role will be located at Discovery Land Company's Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York and The Hills set in East Quogue, New York. Employer of record is: DLV Hamptons Management LLC
Dune Deck Beach Club and The Hills are seeking Seasonal Line Cooks to join the Culinary Department. This role is available May 1, 2026 - October 12, 2026. H-2B visa sponsorship is available for in-country extensions.
In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items are per standard recipe while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste.
  • Stock kitchen with all necessary ingredients.
  • Assist on all stations on the line as needed for each meal period.
  • Maintain and clean equipment according to the opening and closing checklists.
  • Promptly report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment which requires repair/ maintenance.
  • Adhere to all Department of Health food and safety standards.
  • Always comply with company and department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
  • Demonstrate the ability to execute recipes and ability to follow recipes and all house-made ingredients promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure all food is plated and presented accordingly and demonstrate a sense of urgency for responding to guest needs during all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Twelve (12) months of experience in high-volume restaurants, resort, or private club.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
  • Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than four (4) hours.
  • Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull. They may be required to lift and carry items sometimes more significant than 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of ServSafe and safe food handling practices.
  • Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer.

  • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.

Benefits

  • Pay Range: $21.00 - $32.00 USD per hour; based on experience

Cost of housing and utilities, if accepted, is $100.00 - $150.00 per week for a shared room.
