This role will be located at Discovery Land Company's Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York and The Hills set in East Quogue, New York. Employer of record is: DLV Hamptons Management LLC
The Hills is seeking Seasonal Food and Beverage Supervisors to join the Food & Beverage - Service Department. This role is available May 1, 2026 - October 7th, 2026. H-2B visa sponsorship is available for in-country extensions.
In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Food and Beverage Supervisor will support the Food and Beverage Director and Manager in effectively managing the restaurant and outlets through observance, teamwork, and ensuring floor presence, as well as attending and initiating department meetings as necessary.
  • Assist with any member or guest issues and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of restaurant menu items and knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
  • Ensure continual product quality control and daily maintenance of procedures.
  • Maintain stock levels of various snacks, candies, and beverages at the restaurant, sales office, and golf areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules, temperature records, and opening/closing checklists are completed and recorded daily on Outlet Tracking Sheets for all F&B outlets on the property.
  • Assist in basic duties like running food, clearing tables, reset any China glassware or silverware as needed. Additional duties may include simple food preparation and serving of golf course outlet menu items.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies, and government safety, health, and security standards are always fulfilled.
  • Monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks for all F&B outlets.
  • Act as central point of communication when par levels are low.
  • Make sure outlet food and beverage deliveries are received, stocked, and inventoried.
  • Maintain all equipment and be sure it is appropriately handled and maintained by all food and beverage staff.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ten (10) months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs.
  • Knowledgeable of wines and beverages.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service.
  • Know how to work in a team and have a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
  • Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
  • Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Required to work indoors and outdoors.
  • Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than eight (8) hours.
  • Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull. May be required to lift and carry items, sometimes over fifty (50) pounds.
  • Knowledge of ServSafe and safe food handling practices.
  • Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer.

Benefits

  • Pay Range: $25.91 - $31.00 USD per hour; based on experience

  • Optional housing is offered through a separate rental company for those outside of a commutable distance. Cost of housing and utilities, if accepted, is $100.00 - $150.00 per week for a shared room. Employer will not deduct for rent; rent will be paid directly to a separate company via electronic payment, no cash.
