What is an Illiterate job?

An illiterate job typically refers to work that does not require reading or writing skills. These jobs often involve manual labor, such as construction, agriculture, or certain types of factory work. Many of these positions rely on physical ability, experience, or hands-on training rather than formal education. Employers may provide verbal instructions or demonstrate tasks to ensure workers can perform their duties effectively. While literacy can open up more opportunities, there are still many job options available for individuals without reading or writing skills.

What does it mean to be illiterate?

Being illiterate means that a person is unable to read or write at a basic level. Illiteracy can limit a person's ability to access information, find employment, or participate fully in society. Many organizations and programs exist to help adults and children improve their reading and writing skills. Overcoming illiteracy can open up new opportunities and improve quality of life.
