About the Role

As a Team Lead, DLT Sales (Public Sector Growth), you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, shaping client strategy, and leading high-performing sales teams across assigned public sector accounts.

This is a highly visible, impact-driven role for a strategic sales leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll own the development and execution of growth strategies, align internal resources to client priorities, and coach teams to exceed performance goals-while building long-term, trusted relationships with clients and partners.

What You'll DoDrive Growth & Client Strategy
  • Build, execute, and continuously refine client-specific growth strategies and business plans aligned to client priorities and DLT's go-to-market approach.
  • Develop and manage joint business plans with clients and technology partners to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client business objectives, procurement processes, performance trends, and growth opportunities.
Lead Sales Execution & Performance
  • Partner with account management teams and client stakeholders to plan and execute sales activities, sales plays, and account strategies.
  • Manage pipeline development, forecasting, and monthly sales activity reporting to ensure predictability and accountability.
  • Establish, track, and communicate team performance metrics, driving consistent progress toward quota attainment.
Coach, Develop & Support Teams
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to sales associates, lead development representatives, account managers, and senior account managers.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one performance discussions focused on development, engagement, and results.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for issue resolution, removing obstacles and enabling team success.
Collaborate & Represent DLT
  • Lead proposal responses and complex opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Leverage DLT's Office of the CTO (OCTO), market executives, and technologists to deliver differentiated value to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver client value reports that clearly communicate outcomes, impact, and ROI.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by consistently representing DLT's core values, services, and culture with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking ForExperience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of professional, military, or relevant work experience.
  • 4-6 years of sales experience, with a strong track record of achieving revenue and activity-based metrics.
  • 4-6 years of experience in general business, customer-facing roles, and/or team leadership.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting or navigating public sector procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex accounts, and drive measurable business outcomes.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (intermediate level or higher).
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive learning mindset and high attention to detail.
