Job description

For over a decade, Rebel Athletic has been known as the couture disruptor of the cheer and dance uniform world, built on a simple obsession: more sparkle, better fit, and zero compromise. Out of that obsession, and out of necessity, we spent five years engineering something the industry had never seen: our own patent-pending hotfix flatback crystal. In blind tests against Swarovski's own top-of-the-line Xirius crystal, coaches and gym owners preferred our crystal nine times out of ten.

What started as solving our own problem is now ready to become its own business. We are launching the Rebel Crystal Division to bring SuperNova™ and Venus™ crystals to distributors, fashion houses, dance studios, and every brand across North America who refuses to settle for ordinary sparkle. We're looking for the first person to build this division, own this category, and put their name on what we believe will become one of the most exciting new brands in the crystal and rhinestone industry.

The Product
  • SuperNova™ is a patent-pending hotfix crystal, engineered over five years for more sparkle than any other crystal on the market, tested under stage light, fluorescent light, and sunlight.
  • In a blind selection challenge, 9 out of 10 coaches and gym owners preferred SuperNova™ over Swarovski's top-tier Xirius crystal.
  • Built and durability-tested for the demands of elite competition, intense routines, and stunts, not just runway shine.
  • Available only from Rebel Athletic, giving this division a defensible, proprietary product no distributor can get anywhere else.

“Since founding Rebel in 2013, our mission has been to bring more sparkle into the world. SuperNova™ is the world's brightest, shiniest, most sparkling flatback crystal, and now it's time to bring that vision to everyone.” — Karen Noseff Aldridge, Founder & CEO

The Role

This is a rare chance to be the first face of a brand-new Rebel Athletic business unit. Your core mission is sales: building and owning distributor relationships across North America and turning SuperNova™ and Venus™ into the crystal that fashion houses, dance studios, and other buyers ask for by name. But this role is built for someone who wants more than a sales quota. If you show the leadership and vision to grow this into a full business, you'll be given increasing bandwidth and authority, up to and including ownership of the entire division as you bring on others to help you scale it.

What You'll Own 1. Distributor Sales & Relationship Management (Primary Focus)
  • Sell SuperNova™ and Venus™ crystals directly to distributors, fashion houses, dance studios, and other qualified buyers throughout North America.
  • Build, develop, and maintain long-term distributor relationships, from initial outreach through repeat and recurring business.
  • Leverage existing industry contacts while proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through phone outreach, networking, and in-person visits.
2. Influencer Program Management
  • Identify and recruit social media influencers who align with the SuperNova™ and Venus™ brands.
  • Build relationships with influencers and coordinate the distribution of product packages.
  • Manage influencer partnerships by ensuring agreed-upon content is delivered, monitoring campaign performance, and tracking engagement and results.
3. Brand & Marketing Oversight
  • Partner with Rebel's in-house Marketing team on seasonal initiatives to ensure website content, creative assets, and branding remain current.
  • Oversee the overall brand presentation of the Rebel Crystal Division, ensuring a consistent and professional brand experience across all customer touchpoints.
Growth Path

This job description covers your day-one responsibilities, but not your ceiling. As the original Sales Director of this division, you have the opportunity to shape it in your own vision: expanding the customer base, growing the influencer program, and building out a team under you. Show us you can lead, and we'll hand you the authority and resources to run this as your own business unit within Rebel Athletic.

What We're Looking For
  • Industry experience in crystals, rhinestones, apparel trims, or a related fashion, dance, or cheer supply industry is strongly preferred.
  • An established network of distributors, fashion houses, dance studios, and other qualified buyers, with a proven ability to generate new business.
  • A true hunter mentality, with the confidence to cold call, conduct in-person sales visits, build new relationships, and close deals.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in building a business from the ground up rather than maintaining an existing book of business.
  • Strong leadership potential, ambition, and the desire to grow with the organization as the Crystal Division continues to expand.
Why Rebel

Rebel Athletic is the original luxury couture uniform company, known across cheer, dance, and sideline for uncompromising quality and design. Now we're bringing the innovation we built for ourselves to the rest of North America. Be the first to represent this new company and help us bring more sparkle into the world.

Benefits Highlights

At Rebel Athletic, we offer a benefits package designed to support our employees both professionally and personally, including:

  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Company-paid holidays available immediately upon hire
  • Annual discretionary bonus opportunity
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance coverage
  • Voluntary benefit options including supplemental life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and additional coverages
  • 401(k) plan with company match

Benefit eligibility and effective dates are based on company policy and plan requirements.

Working Conditions
  • Full-time position based at Rebel Athletic's headquarters in Carrollton, Texas, with regular travel throughout North America to develop business and support customers.
  • Travel is required, averaging up to 1–2 weeks per month, to conduct customer-facing meetings, visit distributors, attend trade shows and industry events, and close key accounts.
  • Work is performed in a combination of office, customer, showroom, and event environments.
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, driving, and frequent use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of product samples, displays, and marketing materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
Equal Opportunity Statement

Rebel Athletic LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, military status, or any other protected characteristic. We also strictly prohibit retaliation against individuals who raise concerns or participate in investigations.
