Job description

The Ascendancy Group's Mission To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions. * This position is contingent on contract award * Overview The Diving Maintenance Technician/Supply Database Specialist/Personal Property Custodian will assist the Dive Maintenance Manager in conducting preventative maintenance on dive equipment as well as property accountability through management in ELMS/DPAS. Security Requirement: * Active Secret clearance.
Roles and Responsibilities: * Conducts preventative and corrective maintenance as mandated by OPNAV Instruction 4790 scheduled in 3M for all open circuit items including SCUBA tanks, regulators, air compressors, Haskel oxygen charging booster pumps and kits, diagnostic test equipment and tools, buoyancy compensators, surface swim life preservers, depth gauges, pressure gauges, underwater communications equipment, full face diving masks, diving Life Support System (DLSS) associated equipment and NAVSEA Certified Life Support Systems.
* Process requests, maintain records, and manage the issue, turn-in, gain, and loss of capital assets, minor property, and operational consumables (OPCON) assigned to Dive Division. * Conducts monthly inventories, bi-annual inventories, and annual inventories of gear managed in ELMS/DPAS by NSWG-2 N4.
* Investigates and process paperwork for missing, lost, stolen or damaged property.
* Assists with customer service, issue turn-in, issue, lost, stolen, and/or damaged documents (DD Form 1149, DD Form 1150, DD Form 1348, DD Form 200) and receipt of diving equipment. Check and track dive equipment requests on NIPR/SIPR network and assist in procuring and issuing dive equipment with SEAL Team representatives.
* Maintains access and complete required training to manage inventories within the command Accountability Property System Record (APSR) through ELMS/DPAS programs. Requirements * Navy Dive School Certified (NEC 5343 / M2DV, USCG OPSDC or higher).
* Minimum five years' experience as a certified 5343 / M2DV, USCG OPSDC or higher diver.
* Qualification as a Material Maintenance Management (3M) Maintenance Person, 3M Quality Assurance Craftsman and 3M Work Center Supervisor.
* Qualified in accordance with NAVEDTRA 43910-(Series).
* Possess factory-trained certification for diving equipment within inventory, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor and Oxygen Clean System Worker.
* Minimum of Three (3) years NSW experience.
* Maintain forklift license up to 6,000lb capacity.
* Must meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles / CESE for use in their official duties
