Job Summary

As an RN Senior - Evening Officer of the Day (OD), you will provide clinical assistance and oversight to the nursing staff in the delivery of quality care to the residents of the Minnesota Veterans Home-Preston. You will assist in completing clinical assessments required by our regulatory agencies, demonstrate best practice clinical standards, and provide guidelines to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents. Provide direction to the nursing staff in the delivery of quality care and ensure scheduling and operational needs of the home are met. You will work as a member of the nursing department leadership team, provide guidance and direction regarding the delivery of clinical services, be a resource for nursing staff, and the person in-charge in the building when other leaders are not present.
This position is designated as part-time and primarily evening shift. The work schedule will include at least 48 hours per 2-week pay period and may include additional work hours, based on business needs. The position is initially eligible for partial employer contribution towards health and dental insurance benefits.
