Position Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Security Analyst to join our team in supporting the configuration, maintenance, and security of end user applications within a comprehensive Office 365 environment. Under the guidance of network and end-user support supervisors, the Security Analyst will play a key role in implementing security tools, conducting research, developing policies, and transferring knowledge to staff. This position involves inventory management, vulnerability remediation, and software updates on end-user devices across multiple platforms, ensuring that security best practices are upheld and features are securely deployed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enroll and manage a variety of devices (Windows, iOS, iPadOS, Android, macOS) within Office 365 applications.

  • Package and deploy Win32, line-of-business (LOB), and store applications using device management tools to facilitate new installations and updates.

  • Configure update policies, including setting up Windows Update for Business rings and managing feature updates.

  • Create, deploy, and manage sensitivity labels to classify, restrict, and encrypt sensitive documents.

  • Set up and configure trainable classifiers, exact data match (EDM), and other sensitive information types to enhance data protection.

  • Evaluate Microsoft 365 license tiers (e.g., E3, E5, Business Premium) to determine available features and ensure secure implementation.

  • Develop and establish security policies, best practices, and baselines to optimize device onboarding and ongoing security posture.

  • Perform inventory checks, remediate software vulnerabilities, and ensure end-user devices are up-to-date with the latest security patches and software.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 5 years of IT experience demonstrating expertise in architecture design, software development, database management, and systems integration within multi-platform environments.

  • Proven experience managing Office 365 applications for end users with a focus on security tools and security-focused applications.

  • Significant desktop support experience with Microsoft products and software management for end-user devices.

  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience packaging and deploying applications through device management platforms.

  • Knowledge of security labels, data classification, and information protection strategies.

  • Ability to assess and evaluate features within Microsoft 365 license tiers for secure deployment.

  • Familiarity with policy creation, security baselines, and best practices for device onboarding and management.

  • Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, software remediation, and applying updates across various device platforms.
