Scope of the Position:

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Sales Manager is responsible for leading regional sales and business development activities. This role oversees sales forecasting and target achievement, ensuring execution of sales plans and market initiatives, while driving the performance, development, and training of the Outside Sales Representatives.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Promote and embody the company's vision and values.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and branch plans aligned with corporate goals.
  • Set sales targets, forecasts, and performance objectives for the region.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, including ongoing training.
  • Oversee territory management and support Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships, including negotiation and closing of major deal.
  • Deliver presentations and represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
  • Monitor sales performance, reporting, and financial results; take corrective action as needed.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning with the President.
  • Optimize branch operations and product offering to drive efficiency and profitability. Other Duties as Required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 3-7 Years Experience within a distribution environment. Experience in the Electrical industry preferred.
  • 3-5 Years Management Experience.
  • College/University Diploma (Business related, preferred).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
