STORE MANAGER PRIORITIES
The typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with some additional hours as needed to meet seasonal business demands, employee development initiatives, inventory management, and special projects. Some after-hours work may be required for customer support and emergency responses (facility issues, operational challenges, etc.).
Our Store Manager is the one who keeps team members motivated and ensures all aspects of the branch are running smoothly. Leading by example, you'll uphold a collaborative, uplifting, and customer service-focused environment where employees come together to deliver the best results possible. You'll coordinate with staff, customers, vendors, and business leaders to maintain efficient, consistent, and profitable operations in alignment with our company goals. You'll play an active part in the day-to-day, including answering phones, assisting customers at the counter, and solving problems in the store and warehouse. If your team needs help, you'll jump in where you can and motivate the staff to do their best.
Supporting continuous improvement, you'll evaluate our operational processes and execute new strategies for successfully growing sales, coordinating inventory, overseeing fleet operations/warehouse activities, and providing great customer service. You'll leverage technology (NetSuite ERP, an integrated warehouse management system (WMS), etc.) to coordinate inventory, warehouse productivity, product replenishment, order fulfillment, and customer delivery. As you oversee these operations, you'll identify areas for improvement or optimization and adjust processes accordingly. You'll also find ways to increase profitability by analyzing our investments, identifying better opportunities, and monitoring performance metrics to drive informed decision-making. This also involves supporting outside sales efforts and actively encouraging growth throughout your territory.

Our ideal Store Manager has experience in a leadership or management position, preferably in an HVAC or wholesale distribution environment. Experience using NetSuite ERP or an integrated WMS would be a bonus! Forklift experience would be beneficial, and an associate/bachelor's degree would be preferred.
