Compensation: $50,000 – $55,000 Base Salary | $58,000 – $63,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE) | Up to $75,000 Max


About the Role

We are seeking a driven Account Sales Manager to fuel revenue growth through new account acquisition and existing portfolio expansion across the Baltimore/Washington market. In this role, you will act as the primary contact for key client accounts while actively prospecting convenience stores, offices, schools, and independent retailers. You will sell across foodservice, wholesale distribution, and vending channels, balancing field-based sales efforts with cross-functional operational support to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development: Prospect and onboard new clients, conduct regular field visits, present product offerings, and achieve quarterly revenue/gross profit targets.
  • Account Management: Oversee assigned client relationships, monitor purchasing trends, address service inquiries, and identify opportunities for account expansion.
  • Cross-Functional Operations: Partner with warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams to guarantee timely order delivery, streamline client onboarding, and step in during peak volume periods to maintain operational continuity.
  • Territory Strategy: Build a robust sales pipeline, track account activity within company systems, and report market insights back to leadership.


Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Background in sales within foodservice, retail distribution, beverage, wholesale, or vending industries preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience selling to convenience stores, independent retailers, office locations, or hospitality accounts is a strong plus. Route-based sales experience preferred.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional relationship-building skills, self-motivation, clear communication, and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.


Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 annually.
  • Quarterly Bonus Structure: Eligible for quarterly performance bonuses (up to $5,000/quarter) based on revenue growth, gross profit metrics, and new customer acquisition.
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $58,000 – $63,000 annually, with a maximum earning potential of $70,000 – $75,000.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Earned in accordance with company policy.
  • Company Vehicle: Potential eligibility to utilize a company-provided vehicle for business purposes, subject to availability and management approval.
