POSITION SUMMARY
Employees working in Distribution/Fulfillment will be responsible for all aspects of work within a distribution center, to include, but not be limited to: packing of hats, labeling boxes, picking orders from inventory, tracking orders in our database, unloading trucks, stocking shelves, processing returns, re-packaging of items, and moving inventory between distribution centers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  1. Review order slips, and pack hats and other related items into proper boxes in a careful and precise manner;
  2. Attach additional labeling as necessary to boxing to ensure accurate shipments;
  3. Palletize and wrap large shipments
  4. Accurately update inventory in database;
  5. Pull inventory from shelves, and prepare for shipment;
  6. Assist in unloading trucks, occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
  7. Restock shelves as necessary;
  8. Repackage returned items and track in inventory;
  9. Other duties/tasks as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS
  1. Warehouse environment;
  2. High temperatures may be experienced in summer within distribution center working spaces;
  3. Stairs must be able to be navigated to reach various areas of the distribution centers;
  4. Ladders must be able to be navigated to reach product and then product must be carried down the ladder.
  5. Some work may be held outdoors, which is subject to a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, etc.).

Education

Licenses/Certification
1. Prior forklift experience a plus, but not required.
2. Valid driver's license a plus, but not required, unless becoming forklift certified.

  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to work with or near wool material and products
