Description


Position Overview:

The President of SyncLync is responsible for leading the North America division as the General Manager, with full accountability for profit and loss (P&L). This role provides overall leadership for the business, including sales, marketing, customer service, and distribution operations, ensuring strong alignment with global strategy and disciplined regional execution.


The President will drive revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational performance while acting as the primary liaison with Global SyncLync leadership. This role will collaborate with product development, R&D, or engineering functions, which remain under global leadership.


Responsibilities:

Business Leadership & P&L Ownership

Lead and manage the North America SyncLync business with full P&L responsibility, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.

Establish and execute strategic business plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with global objectives.

Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and take corrective action to achieve targets.

Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, controls, and reporting requirements.


Sales & Market Development

Drive revenue growth through execution of sales strategy, channel development, and customer engagement.

Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.

Establish and monitor sales targets with clear accountability across the organization.

Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.


Marketing

Oversee regional marketing strategy in alignment with global brand direction.

Ensure effective product positioning, market presence, and demand generation activities.

Maintain consistent and professional brand representation in the North American market.


Customer Service Leadership

Lead the customer service function to deliver a high-quality, consistent customer experience.

Establish service standards, KPIs, and performance expectations for customer satisfaction and responsiveness.

Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, issue resolution, and customer retention.

Address escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution.

Leverage customer feedback and insights to inform operational and commercial decisions.


Operations & Distribution

Oversee operational execution, including order fulfillment and distribution performance.

Ensure effective logistics, inventory management, and operational efficiency.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce operational risk.


Leadership & Team Management

Provide leadership and direction to the North America team, fostering accountability and performance.

Develop talent, build organizational capability, and support succession planning.

Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and results-driven execution.

Ensure alignment between the regional team and global leadership priorities.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as the primary liaison between North America operations and Global SyncLync leadership.

Partner with global teams on strategic initiatives while ensuring effective local execution.

Collaborate with shared services (finance, HR, operations) to support business needs.

Requirements


Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.

MBA preferred.


Experience:

12+ years of progressive leadership experience, including senior-level general management or business unit leadership.

Prior industry experience is required, with deep subject-matter expertise in the hearing instrument or audiology industry and a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, customer expectations, and competitive landscape.

Proven ability to leverage industry insight to drive strategic decision-making, guide business direction, and make sound, high-impact recommendations at the executive level.

Demonstrated experience with full P&L ownership and financial accountability.

Experience leading customer-facing functions, including customer service or customer experience teams.

Experience working in a global or matrixed organization strongly preferred.


Other Requirements:

This role may require 25% or more travel, including visits to customers, tradeshows, partners, and satellite office locations.

A valid driver's license is required for local travel

Position will be subjected to pre-employment and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks. Must be able to successfully pass MVR checks to drive on behalf of the company.
