**Director of Operations** , you'll lead one of our most advanced, high-volume automated fulfillment operations at the center of our growing e-commerce business. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will own end-to-end site performance, drive operational excellence, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving business growth and profitability objectives.
You'll lead a complex, technology-enabled fulfillment environment, leveraging automation, data, and operational insights to optimize capacity, productivity, quality, freshness, and service. You will inspire a high-performing team, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and continuously improve how we operate to support the future of grocery e-commerce.

**Here's where you'll be focusing:**
**Driving Operational Excellence**
Lead the day-to-day operations of a state-of-the-art fulfillment center
Own site performance, including P&L accountability, to deliver on e-commerce growth and profitability targets
Leverage advanced warehouse management systems (Ocado) to optimize product availability, accuracy, freshness, and waste reduction
Continuously improve performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people metrics
Partner with forecasting, replenishment, and delivery teams to maximize site capacity and dock utilization
Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and process integrity while driving cross-functional alignment
Collaborate with stakeholders across Planning, IT, HR, Finance, Service Delivery, and Customer Experience to achieve business objectives
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards

**What you have to offer:**
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in
**Engineering, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field** .
**10+ years of progressive leadership experience**
in Supply Chain, Logistics, E-Commerce, Retail, or Distribution operations.
Proven success leading
**large-scale fulfillment center, warehouse, or distribution operations**
with full P&L accountability.
Experience managing complex, high-volume operations, ideally in an automated or technology-enabled environment.
Strong cross-functional supply chain expertise across areas such as
**Replenishment, Transportation, Supply Chain Planning, and Strategy** .
Demonstrated ability to
**build, develop, and lead high-performing teams** .
Strong track record of delivering operational improvements, transformation initiatives, and complex projects on time and on budget.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in fresh food, grocery, or other perishable environments is an asset.
