About the Opportunity


A national purchasing and supply chain management organization is seeking a Regional Distribution Manager to oversee distributor relationships, supply chain performance, and operational support across an assigned territory. Serving as the primary liaison between distribution partners, field operations, and internal teams, this role is responsible for ensuring product availability, operational excellence, and exceptional service.


Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, distribution partners, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Manage distributor performance, service levels, and KPI reviews
  • Coordinate the resolution of supply chain and distribution issues
  • Support inventory, promotional programs, and operational initiatives
  • Lead meetings, communicate updates, and provide ongoing operational support
  • Travel throughout the assigned region to support customer locations and distribution partners


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in distribution management, purchasing, sales, and/or operations required.
  • Background working with distribution partners, customers, vendors, or multi-site operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence across multiple stakeholders.
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and solve operational challenges.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as business needs require.
