Job Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
  • Direct all daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, loading, shipping, inventory control, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure efficient flow of inbound and outbound tire shipments.
  • Monitor productivity and implement operational improvements.
  • Balance labor resources based on workload and business demands.
  • Ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates.
  • Conduct employee training and performance evaluations.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Enforce company policies and operational standards.
Operational Improvement
  • Evaluate warehouse workflows and recommend process improvements.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Improve warehouse layout, storage utilization, inventory flow, and dock efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs.
  • Utilize KPIs and operational data to drive decision-making.
Inventory Management
  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper product rotation and inventory control procedures.
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and enforce a safe working environment.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to company safety standards.
  • Conduct routine warehouse inspections and corrective actions.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of warehouse or distribution center leadership experience.
  • Experience managing high-volume distribution operations.
  • Experience with WMS, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
  • Tire, automotive, manufacturing, or consumer goods experience preferred.
