Location Cedar Park, TX
Reports To: Warehouse Operations Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support transportation, warehouse, and order management operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, warehouse operations, and transportation providers to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining order management, monitoring logistics performance, supporting inventory movement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing reports and key performance metrics to improve operational efficiency.


Key ResponsibilitiesTransportation & Logistics
  • Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Monitor shipping schedules and prioritize critical shipments.

  • Coordinate transportation providers and communicate delays or schedule changes.

  • Track domestic and international shipments, providing regular status updates.

  • Approve, decline, or review freight-related charges, including detention and layover fees.

  • Coordinate transportation for returns and assist with freight claims.

Order Management
  • Process, allocate, confirm, and invoice sales orders within the ERP system.

  • Coordinate order fulfillment activities between Sales, Warehouse, and Quality departments.

  • Ensure all orders are approved by Quality prior to shipment.

  • Monitor shipping priorities and communicate order status to internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation in accordance with company record retention policies.

Inventory & Warehouse Support
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are picked and staged on schedule.

  • Review inventory shortages and communicate priorities during daily operational meetings.

  • Work with distribution centers to resolve transportation and inventory-related issues.

  • Support inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations.

Reporting & Performance Metrics
  • Develop, maintain, and publish logistics and operational KPI reports, including:

    • On-Time Delivery (OTD)

    • Freight Revenue

    • Freight Expense

    • Average Load/Unload Time

    • Order Volume

    • Average Revenue per Order

  • Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Generate weekly freight reports and operational dashboards for leadership.

Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation and Hazmat regulations for ground, air, and ocean shipments.

  • Prepare export documentation in accordance with trade laws and company procedures.

  • Ensure shipments comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

  • Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation.


QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of logistics, transportation, warehouse, or supply chain experience preferred.

  • Experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment preferred.

  • Experience utilizing ERP software required; Sage X3 experience is a plus.

  • Hazmat Certification or the ability to obtain certification for ground, air, and ocean shipments required.

  • Understanding of domestic and international shipping practices.

Work Environment

Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per week
