What You’ll Get To Do:
Reporting to our Warehouse and Logistics Manager, this is an on-site, non-exempt position. The organized, self-motivated, individual in this position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing outbound and inbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery while controlling transportation costs. This role coordinates freight movement through freight brokers and direct carrier relationships, manages shipping documentation, tracks shipments, resolves transportation issues, and serves as the primary point of contact for carriers, brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing freight spend budgets.
  • Carrier contract negotiations.
  • Experience with LTL, truckload, intermodal, and expedited freight.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of transportation, logistics, shipping, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience working with freight brokers, LTL carriers, FTL carriers, parcel carriers, and dedicated fleets.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and shipping documentation.
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, TMS, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
