Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled Architectural Project Manager to lead projects from initial concept through construction completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys managing multiple projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and taking ownership of the full architectural lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Production

  • Generate and manage architectural projects from concept through completion
  • Produce detailed construction documents in AutoCAD
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines and budgets

Permitting, Bidding & Construction Administration

  • Oversee permitting processes, including coordination with municipalities and city officials
  • Manage bidding phases, including contractor communication and document distribution
  • Lead construction administration, serving as a liaison between clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues during construction phases

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and direct the work of Assistant Project Managers and drafting staff
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to team members
  • Coordinate internal workflows to ensure efficient and timely project delivery

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years of architectural project management experience
  • Proven experience managing projects from design through construction administration
  • Strong background working with city permitting processes and approvals
  • Experience supervising or directing drafters and junior team members
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, including hands-on production of construction documents
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field preferred
    • Interior Design degrees will also be considered
  • Professional licensure or pursuit of licensure a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
