Job description

Forklift Operator

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating industrial trucks to move materials around our facilities in a safe and efficient manner. This role plays a key part in warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing inventory.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 3PM-2:30AM

Monday-Friday 6AM-3PM

Pay Rate: $19-$20 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

Load, unload, and move products and materials within the warehouse or production area

Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues

Transport goods to designated storage areas and ensure proper stacking

Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts

Follow company safety policies and OSHA regulations at all times

Assist with general warehouse duties (picking, packing, labeling, etc.)

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment

Knowledge of safety procedures and material handling practices

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
