Distribution Coordinator North Aurora, IL

We have an opportunity for a Distribution Coordinator to join our North Aurora, IL, team.  You will lead shipping, receiving, inventory, and fulfillment operations to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of products while meeting safety, quality, and productivity goals. You'll also support inventory accuracy, process improvements, product assembly and preparation, and team training in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will:

  • Lead daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and fulfillment activities to meet department goals for safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records, shipping documentation, cycle counts, and material movement while supporting inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, help reduce costs, and support the implementation of department programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including monthly inspections, quarterly reporting, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Assemble, kit, clean, inspect, and prepare products to meet quality specifications, including trimming impellers and performing product touch-up and paint work.
  • Pick, pack, label, stage, palletize, and verify materials and shipments to ensure accurate and on-time customer deliveries.
  • Train and support new team members while providing leadership and guidance within the Shipping and Receiving team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in order picking/packing, shipping/receiving required
  • Assembly, kitting, and production experience
  • Forklift operator experience required
  • Lathe and heavy equipment experience are a plus
  • SAP experience highly desired
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand tools and perform product handling, assembly, and palletizing activities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and following work orders and instructions.
  • Excellent organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist at the waist. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout shift.
  • Steel-toed footwear is required.

Compensation:

  • The hourly pay for this role is $25.00 – $30.00/hour, DOE.  Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

Shift:

  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
  • Overtime and weekends as needed.
