Distribution Center Administrator (Temporary to Hire)

*Mendota Illinois*

Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Position Type: Temporary with Potential for Full-Time Hire

Express is working with a Distribution Center in Mendota, IL who is seeking a motivated Distribution Center Administrator to join their team. This is a temporary opportunity with the potential to become a full-time position for the right candidate. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable working with computers and data management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and communicate with truck drivers upon arrival.
  • Coordinate and assign dock doors for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Enter and maintain information in dock management software.
  • Schedule dock appointments with carriers and transportation providers.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track data, maintain records, and generate reports.
  • Support daily shipping and receiving operations.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and organization.
  • Provide administrative support to distribution center operations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and data entry.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous shipping, receiving, logistics, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
