Job Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Distribution Center Regional Manager. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for training and supervising associates, reducing operational costs, monitoring the department's compliance with operational policies, and keeping up to date with the progress of administrative tasks. To be successful as a Warehouse Supervisor, the candidate should be result-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ultimately, a top-performing Warehouse Supervisor has excellent leadership, project management, and administrative management skills. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operational Accuracy: Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily receiving operations.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and assign tasks to Warehouse Associates based on business needs and customer priority.
  • Process Improvement: Review warehouse processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Update any changes to receiving processes and retrain warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Facility Management: Coordinate product flow, facility layout, security, and maintenance activities.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee the partnership with LTL (less than a load) providers, including cost control, damage claim rate, and customer satisfaction.
  • Inbound Management: Ensure inbound trucks are efficiently unloaded and that all products are properly received and put away in the correct locations.
  • Staff Management: Manage staff scheduling and attendance based on the needs of the warehouse.
  • Performance Management: Manage individual staff performance through ongoing feedback, support, and provision of resources.
  • Culture Promotion: Promote a culture of high performance, customer service, and accountability.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively through email to internal and external customers.
  • Cost Management: Ability to manage and drive a team effectively to reduce cost and labor spend while maintaining best-in-class services.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent customer service skills, computer skills, and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • HVAC experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel/Word/Outlook.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse leadership experience.
