Job description

Responsible for the guest registration, front desk and point of sale procedures while delivering great guest services.

DUTIES

Provide superior guest service either over the telephone or in person, by being enthusiastic, attentive, friendly and helpful. Handle all guests' issues with respect.

Greet all guests with a positive attitude and a well-groomed appearance, a smile, recognition and a proper uniform and name tag.

Follow all guidelines and procedures regarding the handling of registrations, reservations, and refunds.

Follow specific cash and credit card handling procedures and properly use the computer, cash register, credit card, and various other front desk equipment.

Handle daily, weekly and monthly scheduled stocking and cleaning programs as requested by the Resort Owner / Manager / Supervisor for all front office and store facilities.

Promote your local attractions, as well as, the items within your general store, and activities.

Perform all other duties assigned by the owner's/ resort manager or supervisor.

Attend staff meetings

Make and meet goals set by yourself and supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

General knowledge of computer operations.

Speak, read, and write the English language fluently.

Excellent guest service skills.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Long periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.

Must be able to hear and respond over the telephone.
