Job Summary

Assist DC Leadership Team as a working Lead in providing direction/guidance in the daily operations of the Distribution Center.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform all operations tasks as necessary to assist in meeting daily productivity goals.

  • Assist in conducting daily roll calls and inform supervisor of any absentees.

  • Assist in training and coaching employees on how to properly perform tasks.

  • Facilitate daily workflow to help prioritize and organize daily tasks to meet company objectives.

  • Develop and relay continuous process improvements to supervisor.

  • Troubleshoot process issues/questions and forward any unresolved problems and needs to supervisor.

  • Examine work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

  • Communicate associate development opportunities to supervisor.

  • Utilize GQ to run reports to ensure all daily requirements are completed and use GQ to research necessary information to complete orders to include looking up locations, identifying missing items on orders and identifying what orders are incomplete.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Promote teamwork.

  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with company, OSHA and other applicable requirements to assure a safe workplace.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Strong knowledge base of DC preferred

  • Prior leadership experience preferred

  • Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills to include ability to understand management directives and ability to lead associates in complying with these directives in order to meet the daily productivity goals.

  • Experience working in warehouse/operations setting.

  • Radio Frequency Gun Experience preferred.

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime with little notice and including weekends.

  • Computer efficiency to include Business Software, Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel and Outlook) and GQ experience preferred

  • Ability to complete basic math to include adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse

  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and bend, twist, grab, squat, push, pull stand, walk or perform any other physical movements required to complete daily tasks.
