Job description

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Location: San Gabriel area, Mines Rd.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 11 am to 8 pm

Position Summary

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety standards are consistently met. This role acts as a key point of contact between warehouse staff and management, providing leadership, guidance, and support to team members in a fast-paced distribution environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse associates, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure all operations are completed efficiently, accurately, and within established timelines.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, training, and corrective action when needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures (including PPE compliance).
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and accuracy of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, other departments, and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Lead by example by maintaining productivity standards and a positive work environment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
  • At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations (receiving, shipping, inventory, logistics).
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with WMS systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (may include heat, cold, and noise).
  • Forklift experience.
  • Experience in high-volume distribution or logistics environments.
