Position Description:
$26/HR - Overnight Shift
9PM - 6:30AM Sunday - Thursday
The Distribution Center Lead oversees and assists with the day-to-day activities of assigned shifts and associates, as instructed by the Distribution Center Supervisor and/or the Distribution Excellence Manager. The DC Lead acts as a "player-coach," monitoring and assisting the work of warehouse associates performing a variety of duties related to warehousing, transportation and safety and inventory functions in the warehouse. The DC Lead also assists with implementing work procedures to increase productivity and improve service within the operation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing facility maintenance, product handling equipment, and inventory control systems, whether manual or automated.
  • Champion safe working conditions and monitor associates to ensure equipment safety and adherence to warehouse protocols.
  • Coordinate all warehousing activities with management and administration to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide training, and offer feedback to support development, reporting findings to distribution center management.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Record inventory transactions using manual or automated systems for equipment, supplies, and specialty items in the warehouse.
  • Reinforce SEAL and Standard Work principles and assist in implementing SEAL Operating Systems to boost productivity and service excellence.
  • Supervise and assist with daily activities of assigned shifts under the direction of the Distribution Center Supervisor.
