Job description

We are hiring General Labour to join our team, based in Delta! Our client is a leading Canadian retailer of premium athletic apparel.
Part-time Shift: Mondays Only
Shift: Morning (6.00 am to 2.30pm)
Location: Delta, BC (V4G 1A6)
Job Duties:
As a General Labour (Warehouse Associate), you will be working in a fast-paced environment and performing warehouse duties as required:
  • Pick, pack, processes, and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner as assigned by leadership.
  • Perform loading, unloading, order picking, sorting, and stocking tasks
  • Safely and efficiently maneuver carts, boxes, and equipment throughout the distribution center to support inventory movement, order fulfillment, and operational flow
  • Operate and maintain various warehouse tools and equipment, including handheld scanners, devices, and inventory management systems, and other automated machinery
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned to support business needs and operational efficiency
  • Will be assigned to a home department, however, may be asked to support in other departments of the distribution center including but not limited to value added services, receiving, returns, damages, picking, packing, transfers, shipping, and overall movement of inventory as business needs dictate
  • Work in a KPI-driven environment, meeting daily quotas.
  • Assist in other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  • Must be able to reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds through an 8-hour shift
  • Flexible with working extended hours if required is a strong asset
  • Ability to stand/walk for entirety of scheduled hours in a shift
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
