Job Description/Responsibilities
Lead warehouse operations for a dynamic team at Sazerac, overseeing everything from order picking and truck loading to customs bonded warehouse management. This hands-on leadership role puts you at the center of our supply chain, ensuring products meet quality standards before reaching our customers. You'll help shape team culture, drive continuous improvement, and play a direct role in maintaining the compliance and safety standards that keep our award-winning operation running.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead daily warehouse operations including order picking, truck loading, forklift operation, inventory management, and customs bonded warehouse entries and withdrawals
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, TTB, and Customs regulations while upholding food safety, quality, and environmental standards across the warehouse
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and incoming stock, verifying production counts, quality controlling all outgoing product, and resolving inventory issues
  • Drive team performance by utilizing KPI boards, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and actively developing the skills of those around you
  • Champion a safe, clean, and positive work environment that reflects Sazerac's values and culture

Scheduled Shift: Monday through Friday; 2:30pm-11:00pm
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelors preferred
  • 2 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, and/or transportation
  • 1 year of experience in a leadership, training, or subject matter expert capacity
  • Solid computer skills; comfortable working in a physically demanding environment; ability to operate industrial equipment as required

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
