• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify their needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on therapeutic assessments, ensuring they are responsive to the evolving needs of each client.
• Deliver individual therapy through tailored modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and others that align with evidence-based practices.
• Establish therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and monitor their progress to adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy options, utilizing secure video platforms to enhance accessibility for clients facing mobility or time constraints.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training, and other educational opportunities to stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Life Edge Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various mood disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. The approach is highly individualized, allowing counselors to tailor their methods and interactions to fit each client’s specific needs and circumstances.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients and collaboration with team members.
• A strong empathetic disposition and a non-judgmental attitude essential for building trust and facilitating open dialogues with clients.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently.

While we welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, prior experience in providing therapy to diverse populations and familiarity with telehealth systems are highly desirable. Additionally, experience with trauma-informed care and evidence-based practice methodologies will enhance your integration into our team.

Life Edge Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and USD 100,000 per year, commensurate with your caseload and professional experience. Beyond competitive pay, we provide a range of attractive benefits:
