Job description

Position: Dispatcher (Bilingual)
Work Location: East Hartford, CT 06108
Payrate: $20/hr on W2
Duration: 3+ month temp to hire
Dress Code: Warehouse Work Clothes- Pants/Plain Shirt, steel-toed shoes
Shift: Sunday-Saturday 5am- End of Shift; Shift will be assigned; Must be able to work weekends
 
Job Description:
Client is looking for a dependable Dispatcher who is comfortable working with computers and willing to assist around the hub. This is a hands-on position that involves dispatching as well as helping on the warehouse floor.
 
Responsibilities:
Use computer systems for dispatching and tracking shipments
Assist with moving pallets and loading/unloading trucks
Operate a hand pump jack safely
Communicate clearly with drivers and team members/ Sending Emails
Support general hub operations as needed
 
Requirements:
Computer literacy (basic Excel, email, dispatch software experience a plus)
Ability to lift and move pallets
Experience using a hand pump jack
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Reliable and punctual
Team-oriented and willing to help where needed
