Job description

Toyo Tanso USA is seeking a motivated and dependable Saw Operator / Sawyer / Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our growing team. This hands-on manufacturing role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, precision measuring tools, and technical production processes in a clean, team-oriented environment.

In this role, you will operate industrial saws and manual machining equipment to produce high-quality precision products that support advanced materials manufacturing. We are looking for candidates who are safety-focused, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their manufacturing skills. This role is day shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial saws, cutting equipment, and manual machines to produce parts to precise specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and customer specifications
  • Use precision measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and gauges
  • Perform basic shop math and work within blueprint tolerances
  • Follow production schedules and dispatch lists to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals
  • Navigate basic computer systems including Windows-based manufacturing software
  • Troubleshoot minor production or machine issues and communicate concerns appropriately
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and other interdepartmental teams
  • Follow all PPE and safety requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Basic knowledge of measuring equipment (tape measure, calipers)

  • Experience operating saws preferred; hoist/cane experience a plus

  • Comfortable working around moving machinery, moderate noise, and non-toxic graphite dust

  • Able to occasionally lift 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasks

  • Willingness to work with required PPE (personal protective equipment)

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
